4th of July

NO WAKE STARTS AT 3:00PM

The 4th of July, out on the lake, is a day of family, friends and celebrations!  But with all this comes excessive boats and congestion.  As the Board continues to juggle fun and safety, we will be implementing the YELLOW FLAG rule beginning at 3pm until dark on the 4th July.    Boat smart, boat safe!

Yellow Caution Flag: A flag displayed on the Lake Patrol Vessels(s) when conditions require a mandatory NO WAKE and no towing of water sports equipment or skiing.

V. 2. e. The Lake Patrol in the event of an emergency or, with the approval of any combination of at least two (2) of the following: Lake Committee Members, Board Members, or General Manager, may designate that the lake shall only be used at a NO WAKE speed and no skiing or towing of water sports equipment due to the number of boats on the lake, adverse weather conditions or other factors making it necessary to reduce the speed limit.  In such an event, a yellow caution flag will be displayed from the patrol boat(s).  A citation will be issued for failure to adhere.
